Wenzel Müller

SATB and Accompaniment

Gloria in excesis Deo
et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis.
Laudamus, benedicimus,adoramus, glorificamus,
gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam,
Domine Deus, Rex Coelestis,
Deus Pater omnipotens.
Domine Fili Unigenite, Jesu Christe,
Domine Deus, Agnus Dei, Filius Patris,

Glorious is thy name, Almighty Lord.
All the angels stand about thy throne.
Let all nations bow before thee, and declare thy wondrous works.
we praise thee
We give thanks to thee
Lord we adore thee, we bless thee. We thank thee for thy great glory.
Heaven is thy throne and earth is thy footstool.
Thou art King over all the world
Glorious is thy name O Lord
Blessing and honour be to God for ever and evermore.

Gloria - Concord Singers

Research shows that the so called "Mozarts' Twelfth Mass" was composed by Wenzel Müller1767 - 1835), and is documented in "The Mozart Compendium", edited by H.C. Robbins Landon (Thames & Hudson, London, 1990, p.352). At this time it was lucrative for publishers to sell the work of a lesser-known composer under the name of well known names such as Haydn or Mozart
